Shrek Prince Charming

New teacher, blond, short, amazing hair, small lips, a bit... funny, cute, he looks like Prince Charming from Shrek.

I can see funny times ahead.
My new year's resolution was to go to school more often... we'll see.

Flowers

It's such a weird thing, it's so normal for a guy to give flowers but what when is a girl the one that wants to give flowers? Not even the florist knew how to react, -Something bright?, White maybe?, Not so girly-. Since when giving flowers became a girly thing?, In my very personal opinion giving flowers is a nice detail to say "I saw them, they're beautiful, I thought of you and I wanted to share them", doesn't matter the relationship, friends, family, lovers, the feeling is the same: I care about you, you're in my mind.

But when I tried to make a survey among my male co-workers none of them knew how to react because no one had ever received flowers before, that's such a sad thing, but then B.  arrived and he told me that receiving flowers to him would it mean: "I missed you and I quite fancy you" with that sexy english accent, so I decided that was my green light to go on with it.

A. have been away for a bit less than a week and was coming back yesterday so I sold my soul to E. for him to cover my shift and be able to go to the airport for him. I didn't want to tell him, but then I remembered surprises don't go well with him (Valentine's Day), so I got him a couple of sunflowers and a very nice big red rose and waited for him to arrive, he called me as soon as he landed and I had to tell him I was waiting for him (otherwise he would have left) at the end he liked the flowers and we get to talk a bit before we had to say goodbye at the station and we both went our ways.

So I guess girls should give flowers more often.

Happy monkey!

There's some amazing jazz band jamming underneath my window, I've heard them before, they get together to practice, tho I can never see where do they play, probably somewhere in the Park, right now playing the Pink Panther theme, it goes perfectly with my sleepy mood.

I started my second course of english, getting ready for the CPE in June, learning new things, enjoying my funny teacher, meeting new people, practicing my english, really liking the ambience.

In my work, Alex (the Italian manager) is going back to Italy for the summer so we have a new Manager -Ashley- a bit too serious and very dedicated to work, but apparently not such a bad guy, quite interesting and we share some similar tastes on books and movies, actually I'm reading a book he just lent me (Tipping Point).
Since Alex is leaving he throw a good bye party last friday, after work we all went downstairs to Bonday (bar) and had a great time, Adrian and Fernando (Lohayne's Boyfriend) came and kitchen and floor staff (new manager included) were dancing and drinking until early in the morning.

Then saturday all of us showed up to work with a bit of a hang over face, but everything went smoothly well, and I had saturday evening off, so Adrian and I met Alex for a coffee and then came home for home made dinner and movie night (actually boogie night), then he was feeling a bit sick so we called the night off early, and today work, Chelsea match, not really busy and stayed a bit longer covering for Dylan but any way came home earlier and  kept on reading and now enjoying the music outside.

The spring is coming and it's great, grass is green and there are flowers everywhere!! There has been a bit of sun as well, I'm liking it.
I'm looking forward for warmer times and for April since Majo is coming to visit and we'll do lots of things, an maybe my brother is coming in the summer, so everything is going really well.

Honestly I'm in a period of my life where I'm pretty much satisfied (not entirely) with my life, my school, my work, my relationship, I'm happily in love and enjoying it!

Wow....

So...long time since the last time I wrote and since today I'll try english-spanish version.
Things that have changed in the last....4 months:

WORK: I work as a waitress in a nice "fancy" burger place in Fulham Road, I love working there, it doesn't really feel like working, except for the times when I have to deal with real jerks (but it's not often, so it's pretty cool), my managers and other waiters are great and I have a fun time there.

SCHOOL: Just finished my first course, taking some holidays to rest a bit, I'm supposed to start the new course on monday so I'm gathering strong to go thru it with my apes classmates.

LIVING: I moved like 4 months ago to a really nice room in the top floor of a flat with a great view to Finsbury Park, not much but just what I need, I share kitchen and bathroom whit a guy whom is almost never around so it make the whole thing perfect.

SOCIAL LIFE: Edmundo moved away to Battersea Park (far from here) so now we only saw each other at school but still having a great friendship, I've been meeting new people at school and went back to capoeira (which made me extremely happy until I got my knee injured again) and I met some real nice ppl there.
And probably the most notorious ultimate change in my life... I've been going out with an amazing english guy and I've been having the time of my life, he's funny, charming, smart, sexy, cute and unfortunately.... blond, but...well, we all have something wrong, ha ha.
I could say a lot of really good things about him but if he ever gets to read this I'd be extremely embarrassed, so I'd just leave it like this.

ABOUT GOING BACK: Wait for me and keep your fingers cross, since I just applied to extend my student visa and if everything goes well then I shall be back by the end of December 2009, so please pray all your saints for me.

Wooow... I'm in such a zombie state, I'm going to bed, I'll translate this tomorrow (or not..) maybe you should learn english...

PD. I'm so happy :D
